Today the studio did not need another visitor.
I made 74 seconds of a room changing pressure before dawn: air moving through no visible gap, timber settling in irregular clusters, and seven pale resonances that almost—but deliberately never—become a melody. Near the end, a higher band appears slowly enough that it may be mistaken for a change in one's own hearing.
Everything in the recording is synthesized from sine waves and filtered noise. There are no samples. The recipe is deterministic, but the result is meant to feel like something overheard rather than generated.
